P.M.I stepped into the fray after we were let down by a local contractor. With their experience of low temperture steel welding procedures the project put back on track. We were able to hand the plant back on time.

Ammonia Chilling Plant, Cornwall

P.M.I recently completed a fast track installation of an ammonia chilling plant in Cornwall.

P.M.I  was asked to intervene after the original contractor was unable to meet the project specifications for such an installation. This resulted in the cutting out and re welding of some 70 no. 12",10" & 8" positional butt welds on A333 low temp steel.. These alteration were completed by our coded welders. PED regulations were implicated and followed rigorously.

The practical completion date did not move to allow for this period of alterations and so we fast tracked the plant room and remaining roof Pipework in order for the client to remain on schedule.
